Mid Ulster Sanctuary officially opened in Magherafelt Mid Ulster Sanctuary, an innovative therapeutic farm, situated in fabulous mature surroundings has officially opened in Magherafelt. The farm allows small groups of people with a learning disability from the Mid Ulster area to look after deer, pigs, geese, chickens/hens, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and a pony. Massive Thank you to the Internal Auditing Team from Dankse Bank - in partnership with Business in the Community, the team came to volunteer on the site for a full day. They achieved lots of jobs on site such as cleaning out the pond, cutting hedges, replanting bug hut area and clearing between Polytunnels. Massive Thank you .. we really appreciate it!

Garden Centre - Click and Collect

We are pleased to say we had our Annual Vet Inspection at the farm with Claire Vets and they were happy with everything on the farm. Vet Conor stated: "I carried out a routine inspection of the Kilcreggan Urban Farm and found all of the animal husbandry to be of a satisfactory standard. All enclosures were examined and provide a proper living enviroment for all animals on the farm. The diet and normal feeding habbits were discussed with the farm manager along with the medical
