About us
Kilcreggan Homes provides high quality care and support to adults with learning difficulty, autistic spectrum condition and / or acquired brain injury. We are seeking to employ support workers for the Mid Ulster area.
We would like to recruit a number of support workers, both full time and part time, for an immediate start at a new enhanced rate, based on 38 hour per week. We are a registered charity that provides person centred services to people who have learning disabilities, autism and acquired brain injury.
Main duties:
- To support tenants in daily living tasks in their home.
- To provide one to one support to our tenants and service users with a broad range of learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions.
- To work as part of our team to ensure Kilcreggan continues to provide opportunities for our service users to lead lives they choose.
Essential criteria:
- Understand what it means to provide support in a person centred way.
- Be able to demonstrate that you have skills and attributes required to enhance the client's lives.
- You will be expected to undertake training up to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- You must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this post.
Desirable criteria:
- Registered with NISCC.
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
- Experience in working with clients with complex needs.
- Have experience of working in care or support.
